Well if you have approval from the other person you can use crossloop.com you both download the program and it works like remote desktop.

on windows you just go to the start menu and find remote desktop connection you need to know there full computer name and password if needed to log into there pc.

If you have XP/Vista you could use Remote Desktop Connection. Just make sure the computer you are trying to connect to allows support from other computers.

Note: Remote Desktop Connection comes with your computer. No extra software is necessary. You will need to port forward if have a router.

you can use command prompt. Just go to run and type cmd......and from there type "shutdown -i" without the quotes. then write the ip address when it says write new, and then click on other planned and then press okay.
